Correct selection of dust supplies, first is to understand the type of professional workplace dust and the provisions of the state of the allowable concentration (PC - TWA) and dust-proof supplies, such as with abandon type mask specified protective factor (APF), by measuring the dust concentration of the professional workplace, as well as understand the nature of oxygen concentration and dust, etc., can choose and judge which type and what level of dust supplies.
For example:
A measured post welding soot dust concentration of 20 mg/m3, whether can wear KN95 with abandon type dust mask for protection? (as, dust mask (with abandon) specified protective factor (APF) is 10, A post oxygen concentration was 20.8%, the IDLH environment)
A protective factor for post: 20 mg/m3 present 4 mg/m3 = 5
Because of the protective factors of post A < 10, oxygen concentration is normal, it can choose KN95 levels of dust mask (with abandon type) as the dust of the position products.
